Sunrise Engagement Quad Cities, IA | Madison + Wade
When my cousin, Madison, got engaged, I knew I’d be the photographer to do the engagement shoot. Wade had already proposed and now it was time to immortalize them, their love, and that ring on camera. I met up with Madison and Wade in the Quad Cities to immortalize their engagement. It was a gorgeous midwest sunrise that was originally intended to be a sunset. The engagement photoshoot was set for sundown the previous day but an unwarranted thunderstorm made its debut instead, quite literally raining on our parade. We set out the following morning in what ended up being incredible lighting and they were both so excited to be engaged-it made for some pretty magical photos!
In a twist of fate, this sunrise engagement photography session ended up being the perfect time for us to snap some shots. It was cool and quiet-as if the entire area we were in was just waiting for us to arrive. The newly engaged couple had so much fun with this engagement shoot. Would you ever guess that the temperature was below freezing? They kept their composure and were able to fully experience the moment knowing those special kisses and smiles would be saved on film for them for the future.
When anyone gets engaged, it’s easy to get caught up in a whirlwind of wedding planning and looking towards a new and bright future together. Pausing to stay in the engagement moment is well worth it. Taking time to laugh, smile, and get those little looks on camera is so important. From capturing ear-to-ear smiles to a close up of the engagement ring, I know Madison and Wade will be able to look back on these and immerse themselves right back in the moment of this shoot.
Their friends and family were over the moon when they found out about the engagement and now Madison and Wade have the pictures to prove it. The lovely couple were eager to strike a pose for the camera-like it was a warmup for the main event, their wedding, that would take place later in the year.
Congratulations to the lovely couple!
